A little about me:
Ever since I took my first flight I have been excited about the promise of travel to lead to a deeper understanding and connection with others. An interest in European history, including a year spent in London and some low-budget travel through Europe, led to a life-long passion for exploring and desire to share that excitement with fellow travelers.
My son's decision to live and work in Japan created multiple opportunities for me to experience a fascinating country that features both ancient traditional practices and cutting-edge modern technology.
Who wouldn't want to visit the South Pacific paradise of French Polynesia? When offered the chance to visit resorts on Bora Bora and Tahiti one cold Massachusetts December, I grabbed it. The islands are as spectacularly beautiful as you may have imagined them, and the people are very welcoming, as you can see in the photograph above.
I am a CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) Accredited Cruise Counselor, and have "Expert" designations from river and ocean cruise lines as well as tourism boards in Europe, Japan, and Tahiti. My agency is a member of ASTA, the American Society of Travel Advisors.
